Course Description:

The perfect program for the early childhood young performer! This class introduces children to theatre through creative drama, singing, movement and art integration in a nuturing and fun-filled environment.  The course culminates in a studio presentation for families on our final day!  Class size is limited to 12 students.

Perfect for the elementary school young performer!  Our Rising Star musical theatre class introduces students to acting, characterization, movement and dance in a creative and fun environment! Students will learn about muscial theatre skills and appear in their own musical production of "Disney's Frozen, Kids" for families.  

ALL WHO ENROLL ARE AUTOMATICALLY IN THE PRODUCTION. Class size limited to 20 students.

Fall 2025 :  Performing Arts Co. (Grades 4-12)

Course Description: 

BE A PART OF OUR 40 YEAR OLD MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM THAT TRAINS BUDDING PERFORMERS IN ALL ASPECTS OF MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE INCLUDING ACTING, VOCAL TECHNIQUE, AND DANCE. COURSE WILL CULMINATE IN A PRODUCTION OF "INTO THE WOODS, JR", ON FEBRUARY 1ST, 2026 PRESENTED AT THE WILLIAMSON THEATRE AT CSI'S CENTER FOR THE ARTS. LIMITED CLASS SIZE.  

Location: SNUG HARBOR CULTURAL CENTER, 1000 RICHMOND TERRACE, SI, NY, G Buidling, 2nd Floor, Studios G201 & G 202

Class Time: SATURDAYS 1:00 PM-4:30 PM and Sundays 1/11, 1/18, 1/25 from 3-6 PM (no class 11/29, 12/20, 12/27, 1/3, 1/4)

*Additional Small Group Rehearsals will be called based on student availability

1st Class Rehearsal: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH

*Students enrolling should not have more than one conflict date.*

Auditions: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH 12:00 PM-5:00 PM: BY APPOINTMENT.  ALL WHO AUDITION ARE AUTOMATICALLY IN THE PRODUCTION. BY ENROLLING, STUDENTS AGREE TO ACCEPT ANY ROLE GIVEN. 

Callbacks: BY REQUEST ONLY AND APPOINTMENT. 

Additional Technical & Dress Rehearsals:  Wed. Jan. 28th, 5-9 PM, Thurs, Jan. 29th  5-9 PM, Fri. Jan. 30th  5-9 PM, Saturday, Jan. 31st 10-6 PM at WILLIAMSON THEATRE AT CSI'S CENTER FOR THE ARTS, 2800 VICTORY BLVD.
